In order to help with your planning for the exhibition you will find below a handy list of the most commonly asked questions which we hope you will find useful:

WHEN AND WHERE IS THE SHOW?

Show opening times are as follows:
Fri 10 Mar 10.00 - 18.00
Sat 11 Mar 10.00 - 17.00

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE EXPECTED TO ATTEND LANGUAGE SHOW SCOTLAND?

Around 3,500 language learners, teachers and professionals are expected to attend Language Show Scotland 2017.

HOW DO I ORDER EXHIBITOR BADGES?

Exhibitor badges will shortly be available via the following link, kindly register here. https://register.ttfdata.com/languageshow-scotland-exhibitor/

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE MY EXHIBITOR BADGES?

Exhibitor badges will be sent out by Ticket Factory directly, approximately 2 weeks before the show open dates. You can also collect your badge from the exhibitor registration desk upon arrival.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY STAND PACKAGE?

Depending on the stand you have booked, the following is included:

• Space Only 
Includes website and show guide entry

• Shell Scheme Only 
Includes shell scheme, carpet, name panel, website and show guide entry

• Shell Scheme & Electric
Includes shell scheme, carpet, name panel, website, show guide, entry, 1 power point and 1 fluorescent light for every 8m² booked

IS FURNITURE INCLUDED IN THE STAND PACKAGE?

No, furniture is never included in the stand package. If you're interested in hiring furniture please consult the exhibitor manual.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY EXHIBITOR LOGIN DETAILS?

Exhibitor logins will be sent out at the start of January. If you haven’t received yours and have been signed up for two weeks or more, please contact our marketing manager: +44 (0) 20 7688 6841 | joe.walter@upperstreetevents.co.uk

PROBLEM ACCESSING THE EXHIBITOR E-ZONE?

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE THE EXHIBITOR MANUAL?

The exhibitor manual will be available in January 2017.

CAN I PARK MY CAR AT THE VENUE?

For parking information at the SECC please visit http://secc.co.uk/attend/how-to-get-here/car/parking-at-the-secc.aspx. Further information will be available in the exhibitor manual.

I WANT TO BRING A VEHICLE ON SITE TO UNLOAD, WHERE CAN I PARK IT ONCE IT IS EMPTY?

Once unloaded, all vehicles should be moved to a suitable car park – either multi-storey or motor-rail are close by.

I HAVE A SHELL SCHEME STAND, DO I NEED TO COMPLETE A RISK ASSESSMENT?

All stands have to complete a basic risk assessment to cover the build, open and breakdown periods of the event – if you have any problems please follow the guidelines provided in the exhibitor manual.

DO I NEED INSURANCE COVER FOR THE SHOW?

Yes, all stands must have minimum £1 million public liability insurance. Please check the exhibitor manual for further information.

IS THERE A CLOAKROOM ONSITE?

Yes, there is a cloakroom available. Prices start at £2.00 per item for the whole day. Items are left at your own risk. Large cases accepted within reason.

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED IN TALKS AND DEMONSTRATIONS?

DO I NEED A VISA?

Not sure if you need a visa to visit the UK? Visit the UK Border Agency information page for help.

I REQUIRE AN INVITATION LETTER TO ASSIST WITH MY VISA APPLICATION. HOW DO I APPLY?
